Do I need any experience?

No! Any training will be provided. All we ask for is a smile.

When can I work?

Each day is divided into mostly 2 hours shifts so you can sign up on-line for any that you choose. We try to have two people on a shift especially at busy times.

Do I need to work the same shifts each week?

A few people do a regular shift but most people find it more convenient to pick slots week by week. There is no commitment!

How do I get started?

Call us, send an email or best of all, pop into the shop to see it in action and to chat with volunteers

Do I have to fill in any forms?

There is no formality and you could get started immediately. We do carry identity and background checks (DBS) and will ask soon after you join that you provide the documentation needed

How do I sign up for shifts?

We use an online system that shows the shifts available. All that is needed is to click on any you want to do. Done!

Will I be working on my own?

Not at first but if you feel confident that is a possiblity later on
